I follow A@P's picks as closely as a few well-respected long threads. There's nothing dark about shorting and some people (like Mama Bear and Anthony) do better on the short side than long. Sounds like it might be the same for you.

I find shorting to actually reduce my stress over the market's volatility. When I wake up and turn on CNBC to see that world markets are down and futures are sliding, I no longer freak out. I go short that day, often on the stocks that have popped the day before. As a daytrader, my shorts are sometimes different from Anthony's, but they're often profitable.

Congratulations on your returns over the last five weeks. Are you going to treat yourself to something as a reward?
