Networks North chosen to develop e-sourcing software for the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce

TORONTO, Feb. 25 /CNW-PRN/ - Networks North Inc. (NASDAQ:NETN) is pleased to announce, through its 51% owned subsidiary Interlynx Multimedia Inc., the signing of a major contract to provide custom web-based software to facilitate all aspects of eSourcing for the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC).
''We are pleased to be working with Interlynx again on another key CIBC project,'' said Terence Wallis, CIBC's eSource Project Customer Integration Team Leader. ''They have shown competency in the area of web design and applications particularly in the development of web-based training for CIBC.''
Under the recently signed contract, Interlynx will design and build a web interface and a set of programs to support CIBC employees' ability to interact with the electronic purchasing capabilities. The eSource project uses the ''Ariba ORMS'' software package to link purchasers within the bank to suppliers and their on-line catalogues. The Intranet site being built by Interlynx, for this use, will include extensive on-line training in the use of the Ariba eSourcing tool.
