Urban Juice & Soda: Jones Authorized in 62 Target

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 25, 1999-- Urban Juice(VSE:UJS. - news) Urban Juice &
Soda Company Ltd. (the ''Company'' or ''Urban''), makers of Jones Soda (''Jones''), is pleased to announce that this week it
is launching Jones in all 62 Target stores in the Northern California region.
Target is a national department/grocery chain of 820 stores across the United States. Target is owned by the Dayton Hudson
Corporation, a US$20.4 Billion revenue company based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Target (Northern California) approached Jones Soda in 1998, requesting the brand for the 62 stores in their region. A broader
Jones distribution network was first required to be established in order to properly service the 62 Northern California stores.
This was accomplished by early 1999 and the authorization and launch of Jones, in 10 flavors, in Target is happening this week.
