Thanks, steve. Looks like a lot of other "ifs" in there even if CPQ rolls out soon. The software compatibility going forward would be my concern if I purchased. The virtual machine may work good for the existing software, but what about upgrades. I don't believe it's beneath Win of the Wintel duo to put something in their next upgrade which won't be available to the "cheapies." I'm really interested on your take on how many folks are really out there waiting for a $500 price drop -- or will this really excite additional demand?
