Low oil prices don't affect "complete" oil companies like Exxon as much as they affect the exploration companies. Exxon makes a lot of it's money from refining. When oil prices are low, it's raw material is low. XON is my main core holding for the long term i.e. 10+ years. Let's face it. Whether you own XON or not, if XON goes under, we're all in trouble, anyway!
