Hi OnlyGains - yes I find stories like that very interesting. I just hope I don't end up the subject of one!! I'm just here checking what's up with ALFN. I don't spend all day here on SI and I'll go back to work in two shakes. What's the skinny on the timing of ALFN's News? You're a broker - you can find out - Ha ha :) Scoobey - if I read that Bulls/Bears/Pigs wisdom again - anywhere - I'm going to scream!! It all comes down to your investment strategy - day trade/short-term/mid-term/long-term hold. Look at DELL - which I hold - 7th split just announced - a wonderful longterm hold - does that make DELL's investors 'Pigs' or just good investors holding onto a dream stock? If you try to time the market and sell everytime you think the stock is going down - with the idea of buying back lower sometime later - you'll just end up losing in the long run. No-one can time the market to that level of precision. We all set our own entry/exit points. The ALFN story is just beginning - I average at less than $0.50 - partial profit already taken. Its story going forward looks very good - so I'll hold what I have left - whether it be days, weeks or months. David.
