I have long been curious about the average order on the net stocks being 300 shares or so. On easily more than 100 occasions in the past year, I have put in a buy or sell order for 1000-5000 shares of a net stock, and had the order filled in 100 to 200 share segments. I literally mean that I put in a 5000 share order for BCST, and I get back 50 100 share fills. Is this making it look like my one order was 50 seperate orders? I think the lots appear to be smaller simply because of the thin floats and large demand breaking the trade up.
