So you must get some type of real time signal. I have a Trimble Pathfinder that is real time capable. If you connect a radio receiver to it and pay an annual fee, you can receive real time corrections accurate to 1 meter. At least that's the claim. I used to pay the fee, now there are base files on the internet for free. Only problem is I have to post process the data to get the accuracy. I think this technology is very interesting, and will only get better. It would be excellent to have one on an airplane. Goodbye to vor, lan and adf.
