David Coursey claims in "Gagging on @Home" upside.com
that "Whether I want it to or not, Tele-Communications Inc. (TCI) is going to force-feed me your @Home/Excite (ATHM, XCIT) portal service even though all I want is a cable modem and bandwidth."

I must say that I am unconvinced by his argument since any @Home user can in less than 30 seconds program Yahoo or any other url she chooses as her default home page.

Coursey's conspiratorial diatribe muddies the water on the equal access issue to the point that I am now really scratching my head.
Frank, can you please make a better argument for open access. I no longer get it, although I once thought that I did!

Sam
