There were no witnesses; she could be making up all or part of the story. You hang on every word out of her mouth as truth. We don't even know if he was ever there, but if he was, I wouldn't trust that this admitted perjurer and adulterer would confine herself to just the truth; she well could add anything that isn't true. Many liars tell the basic truth but add embellishments that are lies to the story.
