But that's not the main reason the stock is off today, I think. There's a general tech selloff, and there's nervousness over interest rates holding back potential buyers.

Re "fair price": Depends on the bounce you expect in equipment sales. Many on this thread expect it to be substantial. Morgan Stanley analysts just estimated Year 2000 earnings would be enough to get PE to about 25--a reasonable number if rates don't start skyrocketing.

As you say, it's tough to time the top tech companies. They may never look back.
