Ken,

I understand the volatility issue, however Kory is talking about fundamentals and holding THQI for the long term. Since there is no guarantee that the stock will hit a lower target, and assuming it's fundamentally sound at this price he,we, whoever should just buy it.

The concept of wishing a stock that you are holding long-term means you expect it to go up. If Kory thinks that THQI will hit a lower price so he can buy more, then logically he should sell what he has to lock profits and re-buy at the lower price. You can't have it both ways, it reduces your returns. If he doesn't think that will happen then he should buy now...

The same concept holds that if I buy a stock that goes up and I want it to go back down so I can buy more, then I should have not made the intial buy and invested it in something else that was going up while I waited for my price target or sold when it started to trend down.
