Well I guess one can "believe" what one chooses but given her testimony and Clinton's anemic denial, I'd say consensual sex is a nonstarter. Now, granted his attorney only stated that "the president" didn't assault her, and they may be feverishly combing Clinton's memory to see if they can concoct the consensual sex defense if they deem it necessary. However, the statute of limitations has expired so there is no legal reason to do anything other than issue a blanket denial and watch this one blow over like the rest. The only real political ramifications will be depend on whether the public believes Broaddrick and Clinton suffers in the polls, even then he won't be the one to suffer, it will be his blind partisans that may catch some heat. One can only hope.
