If what you are saying is correct (it makes sense to me), would that make the comparison of 2000 to 1999 even more difficult? or is that too far in the future to worry about? Maybe management is guiding down estimates for 1999 so people don't worry about 2000 so much. If it looked like 2000 would be a tough year to continue to increase earnings by the large percentages they have been doing, it might beg for a lower PE (or at least a lack of deserving a higher one).

Just some random thoughts...
