When MMs are short...and the price is currently lower that what they shorted at, it shows a profit on their books...if it is higer than what they shorted at...it shows a loss....this number is used for their credit calculations and etc. for the next month...so that is why they like to keep it down at the end of month...let it run beginning of month and short shares higher....look at pcbm...HILL has been doing it all day....
