<money, or power, or fame> are not the same as sex. The 1st 3 are regarded as worthwhile, while sex, even 'good' sex has denotations that muddy the issues. Investigations will be muddy, there is the difference. Clinton's attempt to keep from damage by revealing his kinkiness, hampered his ability to testify clearly. Wanting <the 3>, alone, do not cause the same problem, to the same degree. Legal scrutiny must have different, or at least more, protection to those testifying.
