Jeffry,

Techincally, I look for the following:
a) A 3 yr New High on substantial (+200-300%) increase in volume
b) Support no more than 15% away
c) If a) above happens after a correction of 20-25%, I get really excited
d) Ideally, a base, where the price flunctuation in the past 52 weeks or longer is no more than 10%. ie. essentially a FLAT LINE. (See 3yr graphs of ACRT, AMWD, PMRP etc..) The longer the base, the more excited I get!!
e) A sharp increase in volume and a pullback about 2-3 months prior to the latest volume increase (this means that some savvy 'insiders' bought the stock in a hurry in the recent past)

That's my technical criteria in a nutshell!!
