I think dogs are funny when they try to jump on each other when they are playing. I would think bassets are extra funny, with the short legs. Our golden retriever (female) wants to pull us down to her level for tummy-rubs, so she likes to jump up and wrap her front legs around our legs and try to pull us down like that. I won't let her do it, and the kids don't either, but my husband thinks she's clever and lets her get away with it.
