Re MCI/Worldcom: Lots of bugs to be worked out, if my experience is any indication.

1. I tried signing up to pay my MCI/Worldcom bill through Quicken. But Quicken doesn't yet show MCI/Worldcom as a billpay participant. (Or even future participant.) Another thing: Quicken's signup form only allows you to you choose from among the 50 states when entering your address. Too bad if you live in DC (as I do), the Virgin Islands, Guam, etc.

2. Couldn't sign up through CKFR's "mybills" web site, either. It wants an eight-digit customer ID number, but mine is longer than that. (This is probably because I was a Worldcom customer before the MCI merger. Perhaps this will be sorted out when I get my next paper statement.)

3. Couldn't sign up through MCI/Worldcom web site, either. It doesn't recognize my phone number, customer number, nothing. As far as the web site is concerned, I'm a non-customer. Maybe I don't have to pay at all?

Come on, guys! Please allow me to use your product.
