The stock looks like it wants to go lower but fundamentally it looks dirt cheap with technical support about 10. The problem with Sahara was that no MD wanted to buy the equipment without a chance for a return on his/her investment. The recently introduced CPT code for bone density measurements makes this a reality. The CEO recently stated that this should increase sales momentum for the product; I'm sure this was not just idle ramblings but based on remarks from potential customers who hesitated to buy the machine without a mechanism for reimbursement from its use. With the population aging demographics are on the side of the company although I'm not sure how Medicare would react to doctors referring patients to themselves for this test ( Medicare frowns on doctor-owned labs, for example ). Probably the best sign is the total lack of activity on this thread, suggesting most people have given up on the company. This being said, I made an initial plunge of 2000 shares @ 10 3/8 today. I don't expect anything short term; its just a long term gamble.
