OBVIOUSLY GOOD NEWS -(Barnes & Noble will be added to Go2net.com as the exclusive onsite bookseller with specialized section ads of interest) BKS is at 28 now with the ytd high at 48. GOOD NEWS HINTS COME HIDDEN INSIDE BAD NEWS BLUBBERERINGS - It seems there's confusion about what BKS annual report will be (doublespeak clumsy writing - whenever it's there - look smack dab in the middle of the garble for the nugget). Here's the nugget....Expected earnings & the stock are being downgraded as not being on target but well, well LOOKY HERE...the rabbit in the hat is a 58 cents one-time-only gain that's mentioned as if it doesn't belong there. Seems the problem is not knowing what they'll do with this money yet; whether it will report in the quarter or in the annual statement or both is the question. Floats, So it's not being counted on. Seen this one before, love it! (Anyone interested to read todays and this weeks news on BKS, correct me if I'm wrong if you read it different ok?). SECOND SIGHTING...What a Kwinkydink On This Very Day...Today, BKS is 1 of 3 removed from TheStreet.com's Internet Index (shiver me timbers blow me down)alongside two woofers. (Don't you think TheStreet.com has become such an excellent contrarian indicator now that their Internet Index Options trade on the Phila. exchange? Knocks your socks off.) I wonder if this has anything to do with BKS coming on GNET?

Watch VIA (Viacom) go, pals, today it announced a 3/31 2 for 1 split... and it's MOVIN' ON UP TO THE EAST SIDE 2B going on NYSE... and Blockbuster will be a 20% of stake IPO in '99 and (I hope I betcha I hold some shares) a spinoff for shareholders....all this alongside great news of the upcoming debut of an Internet Channel for Children (notice the words "Internet Channel" WHO SAID IT FIRST?!! WHO?!!) earlier this week...With the split announced today coming 3/31, all of a sudden VIA is 40 not 80.
GO GNET GO price per share held its own nicely today, better than its you-know-who anniversary counterpart in share division. Blue, that new Veep sounds like he comes from the Level that GNET deserves! And out from Microsoft, what a kwinkydink...just yesterday I was reading that two of the bigs of the Drugstore.com are formerly of The Gates Domain; and just this month (anyone remember who? I forget) I read other newcoming Tophats into other of Techride's pet Companies have come over from That Land. More 909 Ops? Bring 'Em On! So many Congruents to wonder amazed about lately, methinks. (look what happens when I finally get a couple days to go surfing again.)
