BGR,

I remain optimistic on India and am long the Indian market both through IFN and shares in select Co's in India. However, do not share your enthusiasm for any massive buying of computers for the next 2-3 years.
Remember, India did not get hit by the Asian flu, but growth is 5-6% only and the manufacturing sector is still not doing too well
Even if there are purchases of computers, I have trouble seeing Indian companies lining up to buy P3's or even high to mid range P2's. And definately don't expect the big boxmakers like IBM and Compaq to be big sellers. Think more of Wipro et al, with their connections to get the contracts.
