Penni Returns from Helvitica- Hey-I have a choice- I can either read over 100 messages or I can post with complete irrelevance to anything that's going on. Don't you guys have anything better to do than sit around here making messes? Why are there rhododendrons all over the floor. Who let this big chicken in here? I can't believe someone mentioned Bilbo around Freddy; it inevitably triggers a Bilbo-peeing incident. It's true. ISh and Steve are playing with guns again, and SOMEone seems obsessed with Tinky Winky. You played hooky and got all the boys riled up. . Now I have a meaningful life. I help teenagers make moles that look like slugs. WHat an experience. I had made molasses cookies and never even thought about the deep symbolism. TOld them to thread their needles. DO you know how they did it???? They stuck their needles in the kitchen table (making a big show about pulling swords from stones) and then tried to push the thread through. Then they tied the knot around the needle hole. I didn't reaize it until they had finished and the needle was permanently attached to the slug. They thought it was extremely funny that they had to stuff the moles up their rear ends. They got hot glue all over themselves and their fingers are all blistered. And they kept wanting to go play music instead of sewing. It took three hours. Just to report---the teacher had brought in some samples and there was a Holey Moley--dressed like a little priest. And a Moledonna and surprise! A Snoop Moley MOle!!! Also Molica Lewinski was being made. They were impressed by many of the ideas from the thread, although they were totally grossed out by my Moley Dick and they groaned over most of the puns.
