To all who give a damn,
Gather around the porch and let me say a few things.
Most of you are probably under the impression that the posting by Jock Hutchinson has caused me to leave the thread, nothing could be farther from the truth. Much to Jock's chagrin, my Angels simply had to get someone to address me in such a manner that I would realize this was a sign from them. My Angels for some unknown reason have always put my well-being above everything else in my life. From what I can discern after fifty years of observation is that their number one priority seems to be my health. There are friends on the thread that can verify the fact that if I have ever been sick, I do not remember the occurrence. If it means getting me off the thread in order that my vision does not deteriorate, that I get back to diligently working out, or that I need to get away from a thread that has become too contentious and therefore a little stressful etc., they will see that it is done. My Angels have been trying to get me to take a hiatus for some time now. They are the ones that had me deal in a ridiculous absolute about Dell meeting earnings or I would never post again. They thought that debacle would do it, but nooooo, I had to get my butt back here didn't I.
My biggest concern at the moment is the thread that I grew to love. So for it's sake, let us all realize that for the time being it is best that I take a break and if it is their wishes, then maybe I will return one day.
I must also realize that I am not without my faults. Like I have said before, " mouthing off is inversely proportional to how accountable you are ", well I have tried to be accountable but that does not mean that my posting on the board has not come across as presumptuous, arrogant and any other adjective you care to use. I apologize to those I might have offended.
Let me say before I go any further, this somewhat passive response is in no way indicative of some fear as a result of our friend Jock's threats. As a matter of fact if he wants to sic the S.E.C. on me, then all I have to say is - Go get em big man and bring the sons of bitches on.
As for some of his accusations:
Trolling for clients. - - now I have done some trolling in my time, as a matter of fact, in a hell of a lot of bars around the world and the only thing I caught was a good case of the clap. As for posting all over the net, I think I have posted on only two threads, Dell and maybe 20 times on the AOL thread here at S.I. I have several people I invest for and some have returns of - YES - 700% for the last twelve months and my returns for the way I invest are over 1,000 % for the last 5 months. So bring on the damn S.E.C. and let us go at it. What he did not tell you is - I have never charged any of the people I invest for, ONE RED CENT. On this thread I have tried to answer every inquisitive P.M. I have ever received and I can only hope people have learned something as a result.
It is the assertion by Chuzz that my suggestions on what to buy has probably caused much, much, damage to the unsuspecting thread member. First of all I rarely have advocated people buy individual stocks. I have listed on several occasions stocks that I felt would go up or down etc. There was one distinct time that I recall beseeching everyone on the thread to purchase AOL. That was about four months ago and that stock's performance speaks for itself. I have at certain times stated that certain sectors would bring great returns in the future but that is about as far as I took it. I have always stated Dell will be particularly profitable. I would like to challenge Chuzz and his irresponsible statement, by having anyone who has lost money on my suggestions to post it on the board. The winners, I have already heard from.
In closing, just let me reiterate, do not blame Jock, as you can see, he was just the instrument they used. I find the man to be rather intelligent and he could be a great asset for the thread if he ever decides to turn such terrific energy in that direction.
Remember!
1. The Stock Market is nothing but a Casino
2. The Fed is the only FUNDAMENTAL that counts
3. Chuzz is right, stocks do not exist in a vacuum, they
exist in the pockets of the Manipulators as you witnessed today
4. The Houses control the stocks, therefore they control the stock
market and they will only let the markets go to hell if it will
benefit them
5. Never use MARGIN is a myth, it is the greatest weapon one can
employ in the aggrandizement of wealth. ONE MUST KNOW HOW TO USE
IT!
6. The market is MANIPULATED BY THE HOUSES and once you decide this
is the case, you will really begin to make money if you are not
already.
7. It is numbers of shares not companies that will make one
wealthy. One's goal should be to accumulate all the shares
you can in a quality company.
Finally, I cannot urge you enough to buy all the Dell you can get
after the split. The other two stocks, are AOL and BCST.
It has been great fun and may all of you be blessed by your own God
or Angels. You all have Angels, just listen to them. Mine demand
that I do and I certainly did.
Now get away from this porch and get back to doing what you people
do best, being the best damn thread on the Internet.
