The dinky amount of NEA funding that goes for classical music is dwarfed by the colossal tax breaks city governments dole out for pro sports. I'm willing to ax public monies for classical music as long as pro sports receives the same treatment (especially the stadiums etc - when was the last time the public funded a new classical music hall). ha ha ha ha ha doh!
