We had a huge fiasco here over the Oakland Raiders. The money involved was beyond belief, a couple hundred million+. But I heard on the radio the Hartford Conn deal for the patriots was worse. It just seems like every year, the stakes get higher for these pro teams. Do you live in Austin? They don't have any pro teams - maybe thats why you think the arts comes close.... the arts are small time compared to pro football. What I can't figure out is with all these breaks why Sharks tickets still cost $45. (we're talking a losing hockey franchise, not the 49ers sheesh)
