Lee, I'm posting comments I made on the nine yahoo thread. Nine is a short and long term investment for me. This a response to another post.

I don't make predictions as to when and or how many news articles will be released. In early 99, based on info from zacks I stated Nine would release 98 Q4 earnings on FEB 18. Prior to that date I talked with nine and was informed that earnings would be released mid March. I believe I corrected my ealier post. What I have said is that over the last few month, Nine has released news, hmmm.... I think on four separate ocasions that have caused the stock to jump with volume 4 times to 25 times daily. I have no reason to believe that history will not repeat itself. I also do not know if their will be any more poping news. Well that's between now and May/June release of Q1 99 earnings.

In a long conversation with investment relations at Nine I found out that there are basically two digital/video interface chip manufactures. Nine has deliverd product using one and is developing product that uses the other with a 2000x1600 resolution conventional
21" Monitor. Nine I believe is ahead of all video card manufacturers in hands on knowledge and design of digital video interfaces. This positions Nine's cards well to be associated with High end monitors
and is also a position allowing for higher margin sales. As technology goes, working out the first digital interface is moderately difficult. Working out different impletations of digital interfaces is fairly routine. The real rocket science in video cards is in the video chip. The Nine revolution IV has some amazing capability and will have legs in useful market life. If Nine is also opting to use an S3 engine for other cards, the value added of integrating the digital interface can create another feature rich product. I have not explored this area of Nine. I believe it to be periferal to the revenue generation now of the Number Nine digital flat panel pack. But news anouncements may create feeding frenzy on Nine stock. That OK with me. I have a conservative goal of making 10k on a pop. I missed 10k on the last pop by a mere tiny.

In six month's S3 product may be another predictable source of revenue.
