From CBS Marketwatch today. Sorry I don't know how to do link, so I'll just cut and paste. From article about high multiples on CSCO and LU compared to "value" plays in infrastructure such as TUTS:

For those investors unwilling to pay Cisco or Lucent prices, Woo recommends focusing on companies with a smaller revenue base, a unique product line that doesn't compete with older-generation network equipment, an immature industry and few competitors.

Among the companies that have been successful with this model, Woo cited Broadcom Corp. (BRCM), Rambus Inc. (RMBS), and Tut Systems Inc. (TUTS).
Woo advises investors to watch other up-and-coming private companies that might be in play in the next couple of years: Juniper Networks Inc., AVICI Systems Inc., Argon Networks Inc. and Torrent Networking Technologies Corp. Woo offers these names with a caveat: many startups never go public because they're snapped right up by a large, publicly-traded suitor.

Whichever way you choose to go, analysts agree the network/telecommunications equipment industry is as hot as ever because it capitalizes on the world's craving for information.
