Siebel Announces New Online Product Initiatives to Expand Market Reach

BancBoston Robertson Stephens managing director and senior software analyst Eric. B Upin today reiterated his Buy rating on Siebel Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: SEBL), following its announcement of two new online product initiatives. Siebel, headquartered in San Mateo, Calif., is an enterprise applications software company, providing high-end, enterprise-class sales, marketing and customer service systems to multinational corporations.
"We are reiterating our Buy rating on Siebel based on the company's February 24 announcement of two new product releases, Sales.com and Siebel Sales. These new products will expand the company's Web-based capabilities and target market reach, extend the range of target markets and fortify Siebel's already dominant market positioning," said Upin.
