There's a good article in latest Forbes Mag, about China and its internet. It's a tough cookie to crack. It gives a profile on small start up internet company called Sohu.com run by Charles Zhang. The Chinese government is somewhat reluctant to build up the internet there over speech issues, but, may also see vision in the internet as well. In 1996 there were 60,000 subscribers there, and now there are 2 million. One likely holdup may be the cost of a PC. 'Beiging Digital' predicts there will 10,000,000 internet users by next year.
