Welcome all to the First Annual SCAMMY AWARDS. . .

My name is Rande Is. . . and I started out with nothing

. . . . I still have most of it.

Yeah, it doesn't take long to get in the hole trading penny stocks.
The first rule of holes: If you are in one, stop digging.

I went to school to become a wit, only got halfway through..
Went 7 years to college. Could have been a lawyer in that much time. . .
Instead I'm a musician. Well, mostly behind the scene. . .

It's hard to make a comeback when you haven't been anywhere

I have lived all over the U.S. and now I call Nashville home. The locals are real nice here. They gave me a pet name. . . .They call me “Yankee.”

It is no secret that folks from the North and folks from the South don't see eye to eye.

A girl from the South and a girl from the North were seated side by side on a plane. The girl from the South, being friendly and all, said: "So, where ya'll from?" The Northern girl said, "From a place where they know better than to use a preposition at the end of a sentence." The girl from the South sat quietly for a few moments and then replied. " So, where ya'll from, bitch?"

I married a California girl last year. . . I went from a family of 1 to a family of 6 in 2 little words.

Now I have teenagers. . . too old for babysitters . . .too young to borrow the family car. . .
Raising teenagers is like nailing Jell-O to a tree.

I have learned the secret to keeping kids at home . . .
fill the house with laughter, bake some cookies
and let the air out of their bicycle tires.

You know it has taken me 20 years to get my head together. . .
. . ..and now my body is falling apart.

You know you're getting old when you stoop to tie your shoes and
wonder what else you can do while you're down there.

Nostalgia just isn't what it used to be.

We are going to reminisce a bit tonight. . . and remember some of the most ridiculous
scams of 1998. There are lurkers here that lost hard earned money to some of the award winning
stocks tonight. But there are also some lurkers that have been laughing all year long, as they write
ridiculous business plans, press releases and newsletter articles. . . .and we buy it.

Welcome to the First Annual SCAMMY Awards. We have some Silicon Investor celebrity guests to make awards and to entertain you. Winners will be receiving “investor wear” from the Blind Sheep Clothing Company. Everyone is encouraged to buy some of these high quality garments to wear at your next financial function or sports outing. I set up a webpage for your ordering convenience: members.aol.com

I hope you all enjoy the show. . .
