My apologies for the delay in responding to your excellent question - My SI posting of late has taken a back seat to other activities. Partly for that reason, but primarily for the reason given below, I am going to further defer a response to your question. In the meantime, I can't help but wonder what other thread readers think has driven the marked decrease in CLCK price from a high of $5.375 in July 23, 1998 to a $0.25 closing price today? While the characteristics of this particular stock's fate won't be repeated exactly in future investments, I do believe there are lessons to be learned from the CLCK experience. I suspect that many of those who are long this stock have paid a high tuition to learn these lessons and I'm a firm believer that such lessons are best learned by the investor reviewing the sequence of events and the stock's underlying fundamentals on their own. Accordingly I would encourage everyone who invested in this stock to spend some time thinking about why the stock behaved the way it did. If they wish to share their thoughts with the thread all the better, but even if they don't, it will still be a useful experience. I suspect that many will come up with different and, quite probably, better explanations than I. In any event, since I long ago learned that I don't always have all the answers let alone the right answers, I will defer any further response at this time.
