OK I am diving in. Using the boot disk I am now to the scandisk window. I assume the C:\ prompt comes after scandisk runs. K, it went direct to setup without with no C:\. It is asking if I watn to run setup again. I have two choices 1) restore windows files that are changed or corrupted or 2) copy all windows files again. I assume I should copy all files again but will wait for a second opinion before going any farther ht david
