Foxy,
I am not sure how a newcomer to the board can be such an expert on the individual motivations for each participant's postings over the last two years. In my case, about 90% of my equity investments are in domestic and international mutual funds and the remaining 10% split between two individual stocks of which Luxor is one. The fact that a significant part of my position in Luxor is now in my Roth IRA is an additional reason why my view of the company in 1999 is a little more tolerant and patient. That is a change I had to make last year to get more peace of mind and I wasn't the only one who did that.

I rankle a bit about being cast in some "fear and greed" scenario regarding a stock which trades on low volume and cannot be shorted by those of us in the US of A. This is hardly a stock subject to the daily whims of master stock manipulators. I don't think this stock even shows up on their radar scope for manipulation. Get serious, please.

In regard to sales, last year's sales are public information and what I think will be a lackluster fourth quarter of 1998 will soon be available for all of us to see. The fourth quarter of any year will probably always be the weakest for a product of this type until the company has nationwide distribution in the more temperate parts of the country ( where building is less influenced by ice and snow conditions).

In regard to the present, I noticed on another board this evening that someone said sales in the first quarter of '99 will meet or exceed all of l998's output. You can file that in the "for what its worth dept.". From what I have pieced together, however, I am not so sure he or she is wrong. Considering they have three or more times the number of outlets established for the product than they had in early 1998 ( before bringing McClelland on board), I think they are showing signs of getting "traction" in their marketing efforts. It wouldn't hurt for folks to give them a few words of encouragement occasionally instead of bashing them with a club. Just my humble opinion of course.

It is easy to take potshots at those of us who have held this stock for 2, 3, 4 and even 5 years. Is it just possible that we think it is a good product and worth holding onto?
