Bill,

<Jerry may be incompetent or not>

No "may be" about it...the earnings over the last 3 years have spoken loud and clear.

<AS to whether or not this is antitrust...let the courts decide, they can gather price records etc to show what if any draconiam steps Intel took outside of the bounds of law.>

I am happy to let the courts decide...the answer is fairly obvious. "Draconian"....you mean like vowing to always price your products 25% cheaper than the competition <ggg>.

<What ever those steps were they cost Intel $8 billion per quarter profits.>

What ever profits Intel has forgone due to competitive forces, it simply part of doing business and Intel can easily afford it.

Re: Intel "crushing" AMD

Intel is crushing AMD through superior products, superior manufacturing, superior marketing, superior management, and the generous help of Jerry S. AMD's suicidal pricing strategy was not dictated by Intel.

<Intel has tried to act in provacy with non disclosure agreements to hide pricing variances and attempts to cut of users if they bought AMD.>

Of course, the above is your opinion.....and that's all it is.
