Thursday February 25, 8:33 pm Eastern Time Toups BORS Lift on certification studied LARGO, Fla., Feb 25 (Reuters) - Toups Technology Licensing Inc. said its BORS Lift is on the short list for certification by the U.S. Department of Energy's Petroleum Technology Transfer Council, explaining it is one of the 10 to 12 technologies it will evaluate this year. The company said a four-member evaluation team visited existing BORS Lift installations Wednesday and observed the installation of another. The PTTC has selected the BORS Lift as If selected, the DOE will certify the BORS (Balanced Oil Recovery System) Lift as an enhanced oil production device, making owners eligible for federal tax relief and benefits, the company explained.
