I talked with managment at Marker today. a few points

1. Marker has over 50% of the ski binding market in North America.

2. The latest first call estimates are based on old information.

3. Snowboard step in bindings are well recieved and selling well.

4. Contrary to rumors spread on AOL, Shawn Kaake, a key snowboard guy, is happy at DNR and not going anywhere.

They are dissapointed with stock price. Only Piper Jaffery follows the company.

I am holding this stock. I believe the introduction of the DNR step in will add revenues and profits to the qtr. ending 3/31/97.
I think they will easily beat $.50 a share for the year ending 3/31/97. Which gives MRKR a PE < 10 price sales < 40% This for a company that has LT debt less than 20% of sales , heavy inside ownership and the number one product in a growing industry.

JRR

Looking to at least double from here in the next 365 days with very little downside risk.
