Curious. Was there a anti-virus program on your computer? It would make sense, because when Windows setup modified the boot sector, it warned you. Nothing too big there.

However, considering all of the file conflicts that you've had, and the missing drivers that are being referred to by System.ini and the like, a clean re-install is most likely in order.

If you can, spare yourself the expense, and just format and re-install yourself. Then again, a tech shop could probably do the best job.

Would save you the time and the hassle as well.

My apologies that we couldn't get it up and running for you.
