jwk, Don't assume that Iomega dropped development of optical technology just because they developed Zip. As to any more clues: Source claimed that pricing for low-cost 2GB media has not been finalized. My interpretation: Iomega may decide to match Orb with their $30/disk pricing...however, they may decide to charge a premium for their low-cost 2GB disks. Source claimed that access times for the optical drive may surprise. Lipo
