CWEI closed @ 12 5/8, +1/4, Bid 12 1/2 X Ask 12 3/4...Vol..110.7K

CWEI gapped to 13 1/4 at the opening but immediately sold off to 12 3/4 X 13 where it sat for the longest time. It appeared that almost all trades were buys but apparently there were large sells waiting to be filled at 12 3/4, because it didn't take much before it was at 12 1/2 X 12 3/4 where it spent the rest of the day. Nevertheless, it was an up day, even though it was only 1/4 point; volume was moderate as compared to the heavy volume of the previous two days.

March Oil $22.42, down 0.04 (CWEI received $18.78 in Q1 1996)
Natural Gas 2.45, up 0.06 (CWEI received $2.29 in Q1 1996)

CWEI receives an extra 0.40 for the liquids in its natural gas, on top of the stated priced.
