for example i have a couple cmbok which are chase manhattan bank march 55 puts that someone sold to me. with the stock at 79 1/2 and only one month to run, there is currently no bid. Let's say that I had a couple hundred shares of cmb that i wanted to sell. Would I exercise my right to sell them to the put seller at 55 or sell them to the open nyse market at 79 1/2?
