*AV*--And I bet you were sweating on UTEK today?????

I hope your analysis of PRGS before is accurate. I just dumped a pile into PRGS to average down my position into this pile of dung to 15 3/4. If this puppy even dares to go over 16 tomorrow or this week, its "hasta la vista, turd".

There is absolutely no way this stock is a takeover candidate by MSFT at 26,28, or even 24, when it can dump to 14 3/4. If it were ever a candidate, it sure is no longer one because Gates can do a hostile takeover at 20 by simply filing with the SEC just like all corporate raiders have done in the past. No one will pass up a 33% premium for their shares, PERIOD.

There, I've gone on record as to my position relative to PRGS. I defy anyone to come up with a solid reason backed up with facts why Gates would even consider paying $22 for this stock, when he can file the necessary papers and make a $20 tender offer for all shares in the company in either a stock swap or cash deal. A stock swap equivalent to $20 would actually be fantastic given the track record of MSFT stock.

Market Capitalization is $182,000,000 with 12 million shares outstanding, chump change for the richest man in the universe.

BTW-I can trash this stock as much as I want since by virtue of the number of shares I own, I earned the right. This is a big loser that I will take to profitability this week just due to my staying power. Would I recommend people averaging down?? Yes-but with one caveat.
Do so at your own risk since it is very close to its 52 week low and do so to minimize your losses and see if you can snatch victory out of defeat. The time value of money has made this investment a complete waste of assets, IMHO.

ALYD held its own, ADPT was a winner ans so was CFMT.
