RE-->>Anyone buying down here? HTCH, QNTM, MXTR, SEG all getting very attractive. <<
That's what makes a market. The recent pullback in the drive sector is profit taking from the October lows.
As Bob Pisani (CNBC reporter) said yesterday, we need a selling climax before the market can make any decent gains.
Any volunteers? I dumped stocks during the Sep-Oct 98 lows, I dumped stocks during the Oct 97 lows, and I'm running out of cash to dump.
Any fresh volunteers that are willing to dump their stocks and make this market take off (in an upwards direction?)
Regards,
Larry
PS--Actually, the drive stocks turned up in October with the rest of the market. By the time the first good news (hints of a possible recovery for the sector) started to come out, the drive stock prices had already peaked, and were moving down.
But that kind of action happens a lot in the stock market, where it's kinda hard to relate current prices to current news. I would guess that current prices relate better to future news, but there is still a lot of wiggle room in pricing, any way you look at it.
Actually, I take that back. The party line is that stock prices move in anticipation of future news.
I'm not sure which party to believe in, any more <G>. |
