El, Cramer made some comments on CNBC about a company called Wavephone (WAVO) the end of November/beginning of December that outraged WAVO shareholders and WAVO itself. Cramer was blamed for WAVO taking a nose-dive and he was temporarily off CNBC because of the ruckus.

Although I would hardly put CPQ and WAVO in the same class, Cramer does appear to hold sway with some, possibly many, people.

In terms of WAVO, I personally think Cramer was used as a scapegoat.
