Paul V and Others,

Friends who are familiar with my YoYo AMAT Staircase Patterns know that this Dipping of the shares of the stock is a part of the staircase building process. To the uninitiated: --- Each RISER made (Daily Highs that are higher than the Previous High) is followed by a STEP (Daily High that is equal or lower than the Highest Riser attained). In Step building, the stock usually Dip 8 to 11% The Dip we are seeing now --- From 71 5/8 to 57 3/4 matches the 1997 Dip from 72 to 57 9/16... A 21% Dip does not prevent the stock to continue later on in its climb to the 100s... But if the stock is going to Dip down to 50 (a 30% decline from 71 5/8) and the stock doesn't climb back quick, I'll interpret it as the beginning of the Bear Market for all stocks. A 30% decline will easily deteriorate to -40 then -50 then -60%...
