I can highlight an e-mail message by either a single left or right click or by scrolling thru the listing using the up/down arrow keys.

I delete the unread highlighted message by hitting the Del button. I suppose the thing to do is to go thru the edit/preferences settings item by item. List yours and I'll compare with mine.

After we figure this one out I have one of my own...<g>
