Art, I guarantee that you will have no success trying to ungnarl the complicated web of cross-licensing arrangements and royalty fees. As I am not qualified to assess the solidity of SanDisk's "proprietary technology" I cannot respond to your comments. I guess it really comes down to which technologies you are referring to. Do you feel confident making the statement that SNDK's patent portfolio is less valuable just because Sony has a new product release? I think that is a case of oversimplification. Ausdauer
