ds, re gorilla game: sorry, i usually have little respect for, or interest in, pop investment books. i just don't believe that something as complicated as picking winners can be helped by reading an off the shelf paperback. secondly, i am something of a fan of the efficient markets model, and believe that the conclusions (if any!) of gorilla game and similar books have been priced into the stocks already. another thing i'm a fan of is history, and if you read any investment books/articles from past decades about the "gorillas" of those times, you will find that those who invested in the "gorillas" for the most part got swindled. those are just my very personal beliefs that i'm sharing... i may not be right or even justified in thinking so... and if gorilla game or any other book helps you make money or understand stocks, then great for you. i don't think they would have that positive effect on me however.
now back to ntap. what's a bigger bargain right now, csco or ntap? i may put in a limit order at 95 for the first, 39 for the second. |
