Dan:

I have been to the QL site. QL looks like the way to go for me. I have a few questions.

1) When you say I can see my trade on ISLD does that mean I am looking at the ISLD book (or whatever ecn I am trading with)?

2) How do you price partial fills?

3) What are the charges to cancel an order?

Re the next part, if I should be talking to a tech rep, pls just tell me who to ask for at QL and I'll be happy to be educated by him/her.

4) @Home is not available in my area. I believe UUNET is available. Cable modem service is also not here yet. I assume that means I am limited to local dial-up service and connecting to QL via internet. I think(?) I need two lines -- one for data and one connected to Shamrock because I don't want to be switching screens from my charts to Shamrock.

That being said, in order to get best possible connection, when I talk to my local phone company what should I be asking for, ADSL? ISDN, etc? What is the order of preference, between these lines re (reliability and speed of transmission) for data transmission and for my connection to Shamrock.

Sorry if these are addressed elsewhere. and TIA.

Thank you for helping me understand QL.

Steve
