Sir Vinny- It's called the "insider's game"..IMO, it is Wall Street's unethical game, but it goes on... The company leaks (intentionally or unintentionally...probably Dell's case with Niles) or directly calls (as it looks like the case today with EP calling First Boston yesterday afternoon) that the sales are not going to meet expectations.. Yes, it is unfair to the little guy....The investment houses get out..and THEN announce the news... I don't believe Niles added up all the (non-direct) evidence and reached a conclusion of 5.2B..too close
